Notes on our Proposed BridgeBuilder Consultation
We are consider entering into a consulting agreement with Connie Goodbread to facilitate her version of the Bridge Builder Program.
BridgeBuilders was developed by Peter Steinke, a Lutheran minister who published Healthy Congregations, and I have found praise of this program on these Lutheran websites:
In PDF Format, we have Connie's Preparation Form for the Bridgebuilder Process and her Letter of Agreement.and her resume,
Connie is active in LREDA the Liberal Religious Educators Association. LREDA is our Liberal Religious Educators Association. Bridge Builders is not one of their programs but an independent program. I do not see BridgeBuilders listed on that website.
She is co-creator of the Chrysalis Way, an 18 month emerging congregation development process. Chrysalis Way is a pilot project funded by the UU Funding Panel for the development of healthy new congregations in the Florida District. It is nearly ending its 18 month process. Connie and the Rev. Susan Smith have been the facilitators and developers of that program with the district. This program will be unveiled at GA in St. Louis this year (2006) for districts around the country.
