The purpose of the Fellowship (UUCF) is to serve Christian Unitarians and
Universalists according to their expressed religious needs; to uphold and
promote the Christian witness within the Unitarian Universalist Association;
and to uphold and promote the historic Unitarian and Universalist witness
and conscience within the church universal. We wish to promote a positive
awareness of liberal Christianity and be a resource for UUs on their own
spiritual journeys..
"Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be for all people." (Luke 2:10, KJV) We are located 2 Blocks North of the Main Post Office on 21st Avenue, from Oakland Park Boulevard, and West of I-95. Our Liberal Religious Forum previously met in place of this group. We are looking to revive this group. We would start by meeting one Sunday a month at 9 am . Our program might include lighting a candle, centering prayer, personal stories, reading the Common Lectionary Text for the week, discussing the texts, and perhaps sharing a little bread and non-alcoholic wine.
