Fort Lauderdale South Beach
 

Fort Lauderdale South Beach is two miles from the Broward County Convention Center.

Here is a half mile stretch of beach along A1A Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. There are 50 movable picnic tables that seat 10, charcoal grills, and public restrooms. The more desirable tables are the 20 under the shade trees. No alcohol, glass, pets, or fires outside of grills are allowed on the beach. A tent is OK.

The South Beach Parking Lot charges $10 per vehicle entry. The beach is accessible from the Convention Center by Sun Trolley, Water Taxi (Stop 5), and Broward County Bus 40.

SE 17th Street turns into Seabreeze Blvd on its way East to the Beach where it becomes A1A or Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd or Atlantic Blvd..
