Our Permanent Labyrinth

Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fort Lauderdale
Classic Seven-Circuit Labyrinth

We have collected coral rocks and laid out the expanded space for our permanent labyrinth. The best size is 6" rocks.

We cleared a larger area and left existing trees in their place. We have found that a weed web is important to keep greenery from sprouting through our mulch.

History leaves us evidence of both round and square labyrinths.
Celts, Greeks, Romans, and Hopi Indians have used the square.
We have found that this shape will be easier when we lay out
electric "Yule" lights.

Visit our permanent labyrinth, completed March 16, 2002,
and located at the north side of the
Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fort Lauderdale,
3970 NW 21 Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Ask how you can reserve it for special occasions.
