Briefly, Rev. Gail will offer the 4:00 pm class this time. It will be called RELIGIOUS PAST; SPIRITUAL FUTURE and will draw on pieces of an old UU Curriculum called “The Haunting Church” which looks at what you loved and hated about your early religious experiences and moves into helping you more clearly articulate how you want your current and future spiritual life to unfold. Then we will have our all church soup and bread supper and a free meditation time that will draw this, on music, chanting and guided imagery from many different spiritual traditions.

Susan Friend is going to take a break from teaching this go round so that Student Minister Jan Taddeo at 7:00 pm can practice her adult religious education skills. She will be offering “Spirit of Life- Exploring Spirituality for Unitarian Universalists.” This class will be based on a UUA curriculum that uses our UUCFL anthem hymn “Spirit of Life” by Carolyn McDade to explore various aspects of UU spirituality. Each class suggests a donation of $40 to the church and payment can be made in installments if you prefer. It is very helpful if you let Rev. Gail or Jan know ahead of time if you are planning to attend a class but we are always flexible enough to accommodate the last minute decision makers among you. Find a brochure and decide that 2010 is the year you are going to make time to deepen your learning and your connections here at UUCFL. Susan is willing to provide soup for many of the evenings but we need volunteer soup makers for a couple of nights. Let your culinary skills come to the rescue. Hope to see you there.
